Job Description

Xometry is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support Sales by providing technical expertise and project management, engaging with customers in the aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing community. This role blends customer engagement, technical knowledge, and project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth
• Discover and execute major projects
• Join customer visits
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges
• Stay informed about customer projects
• Gather customer insights
• Assist Pre-Sales Engineering with quotes
• Combine customer and Xometry knowledge
• Provide project management

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in CNC/Sheet engineering and manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience with Xometry’s services is optimal
• Expertise in manufacturing principles, drawings, and GDT
• Expertise in Additive, Injection Molding, CNC Machining, and Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Experience running projects in Asia and/or Europe
• Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST
• Ability to travel 25%-35%
• Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
