Xometry is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical design and engineering of systems to predict and remediate challenges in manufacturing customers’ parts, combining ML model predictions, part geometry, and customer information. The role requires technical leadership and hands-on contribution within a collaborative and rapidly innovating team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience designing, building, and managing distributed computing systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• US Citizen or Green Card holder (ITAR)
