Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance their machine learning capabilities. The role involves exploring new opportunities, developing and implementing models to improve cost prediction, pricing, and sourcing, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Explore new machine learning opportunities
• Develop and implement ML models for cost, price, and sourcing prediction
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop proof of concepts
• Lead feature development and ensure platform reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Monitor and troubleshoot model performance
• Contribute to documentation

Requirements

• Experience with ML modeling techniques (transformers, LLMs)
• Experience with large-scale data processing (PyTorch, Tensorflow)
• Cloud-native software development experience (containers, orchestration)
• Strong software fundamentals (design patterns, OOP, testing)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with *nix systems
• 5+ years experience in ML-driven product engineering
• 3+ years leading cross-team engineering efforts
• Strong project management skills
• US Citizen or Green Card holder (ITAR)
