Job Description

This is a 3-6 month full-time, temporary assignment with the possibility of conversion to permanent full-time status. The Temporary Inventory Specialist will be responsible for material handling duties supporting production, R&D, and customer shipments, while adhering to materials management policies and utilizing Velo3D’s ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Receiving materials
• Moving materials to support production and engineering
• Moving non-conforming materials
• Replenishing parts
• Performing systematic transactions in ERP system
• Complying with materials management policies
• Participating in cycle counting
• Operating material handling equipment
• Communicating material status
• Learning key warehouse tasks

Requirements

• High school degree or GED
• 2+ years of material handling/warehousing/logistics experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Experience with powered material handling equipment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive physical motions
• Experience with computer systems (Microsoft Office, NetSuite, PLM, etc.) preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
