Job Description

Limit Break is seeking a Unity Senior Engineer to lead the development of a new mid-core, 3D mobile game. The role involves prototyping, scaling the team, and owning features from concept to polish, collaborating with designers, artists, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems in Unity (C#)
  • Collaborate with designers and artists
  • Design and implement modular, data-driven systems
  • Interface with backend team for client-server communication
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior developers
  • Diagnose and resolve performance/crash issues
  • Own features from concept to polish

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional game development experience, 5+ years in Unity
  • Strong Unity and C# skills
  • Shipped live service mobile games with Unity
  • Experience with large Unity codebases
  • Proactive mindset and ownership of features
  • Understanding of Unity architecture (MonoBehaviours, ScriptableObjects, Prefabs, Addressables)
  • Autonomous work with clear communication
