Job Description

Lendbuzz is seeking a highly skilled AI Research Scientist with a PhD to lead initiatives in conversational AI and agentic AI systems. The role involves driving research, technical strategy, and execution of next-generation intelligent agents, collaborating with engineering, product, and leadership teams to develop and deploy innovative AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development for conversational AI and agentic AI systems
• Explore novel architectures and algorithms
• Define technical roadmaps and research priorities
• Develop agent frameworks including prompt architectures and RAG systems
• Build robust real-time systems
• Design, fine-tune, and deploy LLM-based models
• Run systematic experiments to evaluate model quality
• Build and curate high-quality datasets
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams

Requirements

• PhD in AI, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• Prior research experience with Machine Learning / AI
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch)
• Demonstrated experience in NLP, LLMs, or machine learning research
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience designing experiments and working with large datasets
